“I was awarded a President’s Scholarship that’s allowing me to go here for free for two years. I’m taking my basic studies here and plan to transfer to a four-year school. It’s a smart place to start.”

An important part of every college experience is receiving adequate preparation to conduct a successful job search leading to satisfactory employment after graduation. At WCCC, our primary role is to provide students with career planning, internship opportunities and job placement services designed to equip them with skills and strategies to contribute to their career success. The Placement Department offers workshops in résumé writing, interviewing techniques, job-search strategies and personal portfolio development.

Students and alumni are encouraged to take advantage of individual counseling and career assessment services. Assistance is also available for those students seeking part-time employment while enrolled in classes. All services are provided at no charge.
