Dan joined the Westmoreland County Community College women's softball coaching staff in 2004. Dan began coaching softball in 1992 at Hempfield Area Athletic Association and later with West Point Little League. Dan assisted in coaching the 2006 and 2007 Westmoreland Diamond 16U traveling teams.

Terlizzi is a graduate of Robert Morris College and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. For the past 27 years, he has been successfully employed in the document management industry as a sales representative. Dan resides in Hempfield Township with his wife, Debbie and daughter, Maria.
